  13. 2 cucharadas vinagre de vino tinto
  14. Al gusto sal
  15. Al gusto pimienta
  16. Aceite
  17. Para la crema agria
  18. 1 yogur griego
  19. 1 cucharada zumo de limón
  20. 1 pizca sal

Steps to make to make Borsch

  1. Cortar en cubos las remolachas y la patata (pelada)
  2. Cortar en rodajas la zanahoria y el apio
  3. Picar finamente la cebolla y el ajo
  4. Calentar aceite en una olla
  5. Añadir a la olla la remolacha, la patata, la zanahoria, el apio, la cebolla y el ajo y saltear removiendo continuamente durante unos 3-4 minutos
  6. Añadir el caldo de carne, el laurel, el comino, el eneldo, la sal y la pimienta.
  7. Llevar a ebullición, bajar a fuego bajo, tapar la olla y cocinar durante unos 15 minutos
  8. Mientras, pelar los tomates y cortarlos en dados, retirando las semillas si se quiere.
  9. Cortar también el repollo en trozos pequeños si procede
  10. Cuando hayan terminado los 15 minutos de cocción, añadir el tomate, el repollo y el vinagre y remover bien.
  11. Subir a fuego medio, tapar la olla y cocinar durante unos 15 minutos más
  12. Mientras, preparar la crema agria batiendo bien sus ingredientes en un pequeño cuenco
  13. Cuando terminen los 15 minutos finales de cocción, retirar el laurel y rectificar de sal si procede.
  14. Servir en un cuenco o plato hondo con una cucharada de crema agria por encima y con una pizca de eneldo picado sobre la crema para decorar. Otra opción es servir con la crema agria aparte para que cada uno se ponga la cantidad que quiera.
